Episode 218: Halloween: Resurrection (with Michael Moss)

March 30th, 2026

Easter is next week which makes it the perfect time to discuss the time one of the members of the Mount Rushmore of slashers was reborn – kind of. We’re of course talking about 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection. If you haven’t seen it in a while, it may be time to revisit it so you can adjust your rankings of the Halloween films accordingly because this has to be the worst of the bunch. Half-baked characters and awful cinematography doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of this dreadful movie. That being said, our episode is way more enjoyable than whatever it is Busta Rhymes and Tyra Banks are producing (which isn’t saying much, but, you get it.) Tune in as we discuss how Loomis would appeal to Gens Z and Alpha, Tracy Morgan playing Michael Myers, and of course MrBeast hosting season 2 of Dangertainment. All of that and more with returning guest Michael Moss. Trick or treat, motherfucker!

Halloween: Resurrection stars Busta Rhymes, Bianca Kajlich, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Ryan Merriman, Sean Patrick Thomas, Tyra Banks, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Directed by Rick Rosenthal.

RobroCops - Episode 5: RoboCop: The Animated Series Review

It was the norm in the ‘80s to make a kid-friendly cartoon of a hyperviolent R rated film in order to justify churning out a plethora of toys for sale. RoboCop was no exception, so with RoboCop: The Animated Series you get what you would expect from such a strange undertaking: a generic cop procedural cartoon but with giant robots included. Unfortunately, it’s just not very good. That being said, there are some unintentionally hilarious moments throughout its short 12 episode run.

Finally, a movie where someone was able to shut Ryan Reynolds the fuck up.
